On Monday 27 November 2017 Cricket South Africa (CSA) welcomed Kemach Equipment on board as an official supplier of tandem drum and walk-behind rollers, as well as the associated training for groundsmen, on a three-year contract that will run until October 2020.

Through the contract, Kemach Equipment, the South African dealer for JCB earthmoving machinery, will play an integral role in providing resources to maintain and upkeep facilities for all 62 of Cricket South Africa’s Hubs and Standard Bank Regional Performance Centres.

“This is another big boost for our development programme as we roll out more and more community hubs around the country,” says CSA acting chief executive, Thabang Moroe. “It is extremely heartening to see companies involving themselves at grassroots level and particularly in underprivileged areas where the need is the greatest.”

“As costs continue to rise to maintain and upkeep our facilities in underprivileged areas, this deal goes a long way to ensuring that we develop the best talent in these areas as they now have the resources to maintain their facilities. We welcome Kemach Equipment to our team of commercial partners and look forward to fruitful and long-lasting partnership with them,” concludes Moroe.
